Birthday Party Packages at Vortex
Every birthday at Vortex is built around a simple choice of packages, each combining gaming time, food, and optional use of The Void. A typical package covers a reserved gaming zone with PS5 consoles and a set food menu, with The Void added for groups who want a movie break between gaming sessions. Prices scale with group size and hours, so a party of eight and a party of twenty can both find a comfortable fit. For a step-by-step planning walkthrough, see our birthday party planning guide.
What a Typical Party Looks Like
Most parties follow a rhythm that works for every age group: gaming for the first stretch while guests arrive and settle in, food served mid-party while scores are compared, and either a return to gaming or a movie in The Void to close the celebration. This structure keeps the energy up for younger kids and lets older guests actually finish their games. Parents hosting teen parties often add a mini-tournament with a small prize — our tournament packages make that easy to arrange.
Food and Cake Options
No birthday is complete without the food. Our party menus feature shareable plates built for groups — crispy chicken, loaded fries, sliders, and the famous Beast Feast platter — plus soft drinks and mocktails. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake; our team will handle serving and clearing so the host can enjoy the party too. Vegetarian and lighter options are available for every package, and dietary requests can be noted when booking. Browse the full food menu before your event.
Why Vortex Works for Every Age
Vortex has hosted birthdays for kids turning eight and adults turning forty, and the formula works for both: activities everyone can participate in, food designed for sharing, and a private, comfortable space away from the usual café noise. Groups of friends who just want to hang out rather than host a formal party will find the same setup described in our Dhaka hangout guide. For directions and opening details, see the Vortex Banani location page — we are open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Booking Your Birthday at Vortex: Step by Step
Pick the date first. Weekday afternoons are the easiest to secure and the room is quieter, while Friday and Saturday evenings fill first – call at least a week ahead for those. Next, choose the setup: gaming stations for a competitive group, lounge seating for a mixed-age party, or The Void for a private screening. Larger groups combine zones so everyone stays under one roof instead of splitting across separate venues.
Then confirm food and cake. The kitchen covers shareable plates such as The Beast Feast and drinks like Savannah Sips, outside birthday cakes are welcome, and the team handles serving, clearing and refrigeration if you tell them in advance. Arrive just before 12:00 PM if you want a calm first hour – Vortex is open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. For the full planning sequence read the ultimate birthday party guide with gaming in Dhaka, see The Void private cinema experience for the screening option, and check location, hours and contact details before you come.
